1. Information We Collect

When you register on StuRev (Student Revolution), we collect the personal details necessary to customize your academic experience:

  • Personal Profile: Full name, registered email address, and optional phone number.
  • Academic Data: Selected degree or schooling program (B.Tech, BBA, MBA, B.Com, Class 11, Class 12), branch or specialization, name of your institution (school or college), semester or current class, and expected year of graduation.
  • Transactional Data: Payment order identifiers, transaction references, timestamps, and payment statuses processed via our gateway partner, Cashfree Payments. We do not store raw card numbers, CVVs, or bank netbanking passwords on our servers.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

We process your data exclusively for legitimate educational purposes, including:

  • Serving curriculum-accurate roadmaps, question banks, and notes tailored to your program.
  • Verifying payment authorization and activating your 365-day Student Pass membership.
  • Providing technical customer support and processing refund requests.
  • Synchronizing your progress across the web dashboard and official Android application.

3. Data Security & Infrastructure

Your account records and profile information are stored on enterprise-grade Supabase cloud infrastructure hosted in ISO-certified data centers. Communications between your browser, our servers, and Cashfree are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Access controls and PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) strictly ensure only you can access your private account data.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade student personal information to any marketing agencies or data brokers. Data is only processed through trusted infrastructure providers:

  • Cashfree Payments: For PCI-DSS compliant payment processing.
  • Supabase: For authenticated user session management and cloud database hosting.

5. Student Rights & Data Deletion

You maintain the right to inspect, correct, or permanently delete your account data. To request full deletion of your account and associated records, submit a written request to support@sturev.in. All personal records are purged within seven (7) business days.

6. Policy Updates

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of StuRev constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
